A more elegant solution would be an IGNORE_MODULE directive in lts.conf:

[ntavo]
  IGNORE_MODULE_01 = ehci-hcd

I don't think such a directive exists, though, but it could be 
implemented fairly easily.  Combined with the LIKE directive, you could 
set this up for your 6020P units and have each workstation inherit this, 
while all the others would pick up the default behavior.
