Okay, so the sound should work in my situation, too. That means I have something else broken. I am running the ltsp-sound.sh script on login for the terminal users. I have esound installed, but the daemon isn't running... I'm pretty sure when I ran the esound daemon, all the audio for the terminals came out the console sound. I'll have to check that. But I think all the HOWTO indicated was to install the modules on the terminal and run the ltsp-sound login script when they login.
