I quite possibly might be in the majority but I for one prefer getting two copies. The one sent directly to me will go to my inbox, letting me know that some has responded to me directly, the one from the mailing list gets filtered into my LTSP mailing list folder, "for the archives". Having said that, Mailman does have a "no duplicates" setting and it's per user. Go to: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/options/ltsp-discuss Go in to change your options and the very last option is "Avoid Duplicate copies of messages".
