Hi.
I am trying to create an environment where all hosts need to register to a
mainserver, including LTSP Clients. The registration is done through a
soap service and which is exposed through a GUI located on the LTSP
server. I need a safe way to check if a process running on the LTSP server
has been started from a LTSP Client and if so the inet address or hostname
of that client. I was thinking of somthing like the $DISPLAY but I'm not
sure it is safe (always gonna work).
What would be the best way to do this in your opinion?
