I am confused about the Sound wiki.
Connecting a LTSP client to a server having sound capabilities was no problem, in fact, SOUND=Y was the only thing I needed.
But the wiki lead me to believe that sound could magically come from a server with no sound card if one installed the ltsp-sound package on the server (/etc/profile.d/ltsp-sound.sh) and setting a few things up for the clients in
lts.conf:
SOUND=Y
SMODULE_01=<client-side module?>
SOUND_DAEMON=esd
I'm really not sure what's supposed to happen here, as my server has no sound card at all.
What am I missing?
Thanks, Dave
