I missed the X_COLOR_DEPTH parameter in the doc, shame on me!

OK, that's what I was looking for, but unfortunatly I don't have enough
video memory on this station (only 2 MB) for 1024x768 and 24 bits (as
you said it doesn't accept 32 bits).

I'm now trying to make it accept a PCI video card in place of the
integrated AGP chip, and it doesn't want... This is a Dell Optiplex GXa
with integrated ATI Rage Pro AGP. Somebody here ever did that?
