Hello, everyone!
I use LTSP 4.2 with 2.6.16.1 kernel. I had to use this old kernel because
2.6.17.3 didnot work with my HP t5125 VIA Rhine II NIC.
The problem is USB devices just won't work. I have a proper configuration in
rc.usb modprobing modules like ehci-hcd ohci-hcd uhci-hcd usb-ehci usb-uhci
usb-ohci. I also have usb mouse and keyboard modules modprobing in rc.sysinit.
Mouse won't move and keyboard won't type. I tried to insert "MODULE_01 =
uhci-hcd" in my lts.conf but it didnot help(I tried all of the above listed usb
modules). The terminal startup stopped with an error message "Failed to load
usb-uhci module" proposing to press "Enter" for continue but I couldnot as my
keyboard didnot work. I could spot something with "USB" on startup but it was
just "Checking for USB..." and no "Fail" message after that but I just could
miss it(this version is loading so fast!). I checked thinclient BIOS - all USB
support is enabled. I don't know what to do. I will try to ltspadmin->Udate my
packages but don't see why it should work after that. Maybe some configuration
trick or kernel misunderstanding?
Please help!
