Yea, I just read it too and was amazed at the complete lack of competence in
the company (actually, it looks like they have a few pro-Micro$oft engineers
who started slinging the FUD as much as possible to prevent themselves from
actually having to learn anything about linux.

Unfortunately, the hardware still looks very good, and my administration is
looking very strongly at it as a viable thin client solution (whereas all
other thin client solutions I've presented have been met with lukewarm
responces at best). So, if we do want to use this platform, can anyone give
me an idea as to how hard it would be to make LTS work on it? Again, it is
an AMD Alchemy (sp?) RISC CPU that IS supported under linux (every other
device based on this CPU that I've found so far touts good linux support).
Is it a simple matter of downloading the LTS development env. and compiling
with a toolchain for that arch, or is it going to be much harder?

Also, if one were to talk vendors such as ChipPC into "assisting" the
community in providing LTS support for their hardware (such as through
hardware donation), are the LTS developers interested in such arrangements?
Who would I talk to about more details?

Thanks for the help!

I just read this PPT file. It is nothing but lies and false information.
I question why any company would go to such an effort to do this. It's clear
to me that these people are suffering from a "Fatal Deception Error: ID10T"
