I had a similar problem with an ASUS Wireless AP. problem was that the 
adaptor was quite slow.
Try sending smaller packets

I added wsize=2048,rsize=2048 to the startup file in 
/tftpboot/lts/2.6.17.8-ltsp-1/pxelinux.cfg
the line now looks like
  append rw root=/dev/ram0 initrd=initramfs.gz  
MOPTS=nolock,ro,wsize=2048,rsize=2048

are these 2 spots of any help?
