Well, what have mozilla/firefox/epiphany/(galeon) in common? They all
use gecko as their rendering engine. So I'd say it has something to do
with that.
I also think I remember hearing about a similar problem ages ago, but I
don't recall any details...
So, sorry, no fix from me. Maybe digg a little into about:config (in the
url bar, where you normally type http://...), maybe there is something
there that applies.
