Not exactly.
What that's saying is:
If you are booting with PXE,
use the 2.6.9 kernel (which is old)
Else
use the 2.6.16 kernel (which is for ltsp-4.2, although a bit old)
If you have the latest LTSP-4.2 packages installed, you should be using:
"/lts/2.6.17.8-ltsp-1/pxelinux.0" for PXE workstations
and:
"/lts/vmlinuz-2.6.17.8-ltsp-1" for Etherboot workstations.
