a) This is very hard to do
b) I really don't think that you want to!!
   The program runs on your server, not on your client. Putting the key on the 
client is about as effective as putting it on a pc say at your kid's school.

I don't know about your app, but license-manager seems to be what real people 
are doing :-)
Perhaps talking to your supplier ...
