I need sound support. I think most of the sound will be in Firefox but
there may be a need for xmms and mplayer. It's all web based audio and
maybe some video. I know of two options

   1. Configure sound from the server to the thin client
   2. Setup local application support ( firefox )

Here's what I have.

   1. Ubuntu Dapper ( I need long term support )
   2. I installed "ltsp-server-standalone"
         1. I think this is LTSP 5

I've looked into sound support. Most of the documentation was for either
4.2 or 4.1. However, some audio won't work or something like that. I
need flash etc... for web audio and video.

Local applications seem to provide better sound support. However, the
documentation talks about NFS and NIS. This sounds like a lot of work.

Can someone point me in the right direction? Also, if there is a website
or documentation that walks you through either one let me know. Again,
the documentation I looked at for both options was either missing a few
things or old.
