Here's an oddity for everyone. my ltsp install in ubuntu is behaving differently from my edubuntu and I'm not sure why.
The employees here log into ltsp and they get a gnome desktop. Their .bash_profile contains an ssh command to connect them to a server here, so when they open a terminal, it connects them to the server. Good deal. When they log into the edubuntu setup (same home directories) it's running the ssh command before the desktop starts. I don't want to change the functionality I have now (ie the employees log in and get a desktop, but the console takes them right to the server). Am I missing something? I copies their home directories over from ubuntu, but I don't think anything in there is too much different. -- joe auerbach systems administrator pcb / rossman and co 614-523-4150 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
