I know that this problem is in regards to wine, but I think this list might be able to help. I have a Compaq Deskpro PII 550Mhz with an Intel 810 graphics card and a CRT monitor that functions as a thin client. Running Windows applications using WINE works wonderfully.
When I try to run the same program on my HP T5125 thin clients, the X session crashes immediately and I'm kicked back to the LDM login screen. These thin clients have a Via S3 Graphics card and a LCD monitor. I'm wondering what the difference is between the two units that could cause this type of crash. I'm leaning towards a display problem? Is WINE looking for a particular resolution, color depth, refresh rate? How do I go about debugging why the thin client is crashing? Do I need SYSLOG_HOST enabled? What other files will be of use? -- Anthony M Simonelli <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
