Hello Thomas,
Are yoy using a PS/2 mouse?
In my case I just added this line to my lts.conf to solve the problem:
X_USBMOUSE_DEVICE = "/dev/null"
And all my mouse lines are:
X_MOUSE_PROTOCOL = "IMPS/2"
X_MOUSE_DEVICE = "/dev/psaux"
X_MOUSE_RESOLUTION = 400
X_MOUSE_BUTTONS = 3
X_USBMOUSE_DEVICE = "/dev/null"
Try and tell us the results,
Good Luck!
Regards,
