Is there a limit to how many clients be on an LTSP server? I have just installed LTSP5 on SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop, it works up to about 15 clients and then the rest do not get an X-Session (as i have SCREEN_07 = startx), they do get a screen that gives me UBUNUTU LOGIN: in plain text. Is there a file that I missed while configuring GDM or XDMCP? I have look at both the /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config as well as the /etc/opt/gnome/gdm/gdm.conf. In the gdm.conf i have [xdmcp] Enable=true
in the xdm-config I have !DisplayManager.requestPort: 0 In my dhcpd.conf I have enough addresses for 200 clients. I also tried removing the SCREEN_07 = startx in the lts.conf which results in a graphical ubuntu login, and I cannot login with any users. I would like to use GDM, rather than the Ubuntu login. Is there a configuration file that I skipped somewhere along the line? Cody ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys. Earn Cash.
