Hey folks, havnt written in here in a while, but have a question. I'm trying to take some load off my server, so I want to move IceWM and Firefox to be local applications, if I can be, on our thin clients. I already have XScreenSaver running as a local application.
So I'm following the same process as I did for xscreensaver, and copying the binary and libraries into the /opt/ltsp/i386/usr/ directories... Except, I've become stuck. IceWM is complaining about I guess a wrong version of a library. ----- icewm: /lib/libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_3.3' not found (required by /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6) ----- Thats the error I get if I try to run icewm from the commandline with my X_SCREEN being "shell" on my terminal. There were 4 other libraries that I was able to copy into /opt/ltsp/usr/lib/ just fine and that library error msg went away... but when I got to this one, POOT. I copied that library from my servers /lib/ directory and I still get the error. IceWM runs fine when ran from my server, so I obviously have the correct version, there. I did, however, notice that that same file is in /opt/ltsp/i386/lib/ ... Maybe its a different version than what IceWM wants??? Is there any way, without recompiling, I can point IceWM to the "right" version in /opt/ltsp/i386/usr/lib/ ??? This is IceWM version 1.2.30 btw, which I believe is the latest version.
