we at the openSUSE team are actively working to include LTSP into the distro.
There was already a set of tools to build images using our installation
sources called KIWI, it has been used to build livedvd's and many other
version of openSUSE.
check it out http://en.opensuse.org/KIWI
we are also discussing the work and progress we achieve in an irc forum
opensuse-kiwi @freenode.net.
as well as at http://en.opensuse.org/LTSP
You can also get involved using the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list.
At the end of today I should have a simple "how to" written and posted.
As soon as the construction is complete it will be back ported to SLES and
therefore should work on openSUSE 10.x ,we will need testers.
We are very greatful to the dedicated developers in the LTSP group for helping
generate understanding of their work and the steps necessary to proceed.
