Hi, all...

Resuming (if you want, all history follows):

I'm trying to switch keyboard after login. On LTSP 4.1 I used to give
those commands:

#! /bin/bash ## ABNT2 keyboard
setxkbmap -model abnt2 -layout br -print | xkbcomp - $DISPLAY
#! /bin/bash ## Brasilian International keyboard
setxkbmap -layout br -print | xkbcomp - $DISPLAY
#! /bin/bash ## US International keyboard
setxkbmap -layout 'us(intl)' -print | xkbcomp - $DISPLAY

But on LTSP 4.2 it makes LTSP client to drop X and keyboard get stalled
until reboot the client.

Someone can help me?

## All history follows:

I'm experiencing a strange problem on my ltsp servers/clients
envolviments...

I have a cluster of ltsp servers that serve many (more than 1000)
clients... Some of this have us(intl) keyboard, others br(intl) keyboard
and the common is abnt2 keyboad.

It was not possible to arrange it on the lts.conf becouse keyboards are
very dinamicaly changed on labs (they get broken many times) and there
are many clients. So, on LTSP 4.1 was wroten a bash script to change the
configuration of the keyboards (the command used was writen above), and
it used to work very well.

On the last week we've upgraded LTSP to 4.2 version (with LocalDev
support). Well, after that the script doesn't work anymore.

The X of the client drops and keyboard get stalled untill reboot the client.

I've searched on the list and many places in the Internet,
unsuccessfully. Does anyone here knows what got wrong?

Please, I realy need help!

Thanks a lot!
