Hi all, it has been published (in spanish) part of the wiki of the project "Casa de Oficio ReciclaRed". A LTSP based project where, during a year, some young guys learn the basis of GNU/Linux to become first level technicians by repairing old computers and implementing LTSP systems (the server is calle ReciclaRed, something like Recycle Net). Then, they deploy them in schools in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, Spain.
This project is financed by the Canary Island Employment Department with some funds from the EU. If you know spanish, check: www.reciclared.org the following 6 monthes, until the end of the project, we'll be publishing more contents. Right now, about 1/3 is public. It would be impossible to achive a project like this if we would have to buy new computers and pay licences. GNU/Linux, LTSP and a little of hard work make it possible. Hey Jim, I showed you some pictures about this project in Seville (UDS), do you remember?
