Well, first question is, you keep trying the jammin 225.  Have you tried
a different box yet?  How much ram's in the 225?

Well, if you've gotten that far now, then it's actually booted, and
is trying to auto detect X.  So, maybe that's failing.  Here's a thought:
Perhaps a hard coded xorg.conf file might work for you.  There's instructions
in the edubuntu handbook, but, here's the short synopsis:

Come up with a hardcoded xorg.conf (best bet would be to use the one on
the server, and change the video driver to the one in the 225 (via? Can't
remember).

Place this in the chroot in a known location.  (i'd suggest in
/opt/ltsp/i386/etc/X11/jammin225.conf, say)

Set a varible in your lts.conf:

X_CONF = /etc/X11/jammin225.conf

ltsp-update-image

Give that a try.
