ltsp-build-client is part of this. This is just up to the "stock"
ltsp setup. A less wordy person could have just combined 1-3 into
1) build a generic ltsp environment.

It would probably be better if I indicated the correct config file.
How about $chroot/etc/lts.conf. entire contents from the currently
production env (which is thinner than I remember).
[Default]
SERVER = gcc2
X_MODE_0 = 1024x768
I guess I am lucky since it all just worked. Thank you LTSP crew.

Actually I don't think i am very lucky. I think that lots of work
has gone into LTSP to make it "stock linux with anorexia" to run on
extremely light weight hardware. Hardware that was engineered back
when "640K is all you will ever need" and everything that had hard
disks had 2 commas in the price tag.
In essence someone went to a lot of trouble to enable us to utilize
systems that are pretty much outdated even though they are brand new.
Don't go complaining that "this thing is awful" unless you
1) have your name all over the source
2) have your name in the maintainers list
3) put some serious $$ in the hands of those who meet #1 and #2.
Nothing is free.

If anyone wants more info on the "fat" side of things let me know.
