Hi,
I have installed ltsp 4.2 on Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop 10 SP1.
But I encountered some problems with the sound from the thin client PCes
that are connecting to the ltsp server.
The thin client PCes are able to play system sounds (such as login
sound) through their own soundcards and speakers.
However if I launch an application such as VLC player or Helix Player to
play some media files. The sound will come out from the server's speaker
instead of the thin client's .
On the ltsp server side, we have set it to use esd sound daemon.
Are media players like VLC and Helix able to support sound redirection
through esd ? Do I have to use some other sound daemons instead ?
Thanks.
Regards
