Hi,
me again. Today for the first time I managed to get sound to work on
ltsp 5 with pulse-audio.
It was a bit of a drag to get there. However, I do not understand,
what I need to do, to get kmix access pulseaudio (instead of the
installed soundcard). alsamixer selects the pulse control, but kmix
wants to play with the server's soundcard's controls.
I am also a bit confused, that I had to put the pulseaudio-entries
into /etc/asound.conf ... whereas the file was not there before and I
read on many websites, that alsa normally works without.
Moving on from this:
What do I need to do, to be able to use the server's soundcard, too? -
I assume this is probably some user-based config in .asoundrc ...? Or
am I here totally wrong?
Thanks a lot!
Stefan.
