What is the secret to getting the LDM_REMOTECMD=/path/to/script working?

I have tried putting the command in both lts.conf files.

 /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf (Yes, I ran ltsp-update-image)

and

/var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386

No matter where I put the command none of the clients will execute it.

System is LTS5 on Ubuntu 7.1O - LDM has been patched with Auto Logon
patch and it works fine.

Did the patch for auto logon break everything else pertaining to LDM?

I have 40 clients that need to execute a custom login script after they
auto login.

Thanks
Chuck
