Hi list,

have a LTSP terminal server running on Ubuntu 8.04. The thinclients
are mounting several Netware devices by a pam module. When the user
logs in, the devices are mounted to his home directory. Unfortunately
the devices are never unmounted, because of some problem in the logout
process. Only message in /var/log/auth.log is:
"vm-thinserver sshd[6733]: pam closing authenticating connection:
 Broken pipe"

When the user logs in again, 3 new icons appear on the desktop. That
looks like that: http://www.abload.de/img/desktop9wg.png

It cannot be a problem with the mount/ unmount scripts, because the
same scripts work well on other physical machines.

Hope somebody can give me a hint.
