Thanks for pointing that out - clearly I have some more to learn about LTSP! Having completed the partition changes, I am now starting to research and plan the upgrade. Currently the only documention that I have come across is: The LTSP5 installation documentation: * http://www.ltsp.org/twiki/bin/view/Ltsp/Debian#LTSP_5 The LTSP5 documentation for Debian Etch: * http://wiki.debian.org/LTSP/Howto Linux Agora - LTSP 4.2 or LTSP 5 thread: * http://www.linuxagora.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=749 I suspect the latter is rather outdated, but I include it because of the reference to certain problems, including the requirement to uninstall atftpd before installing LTSP5. More worryingly is the assertion that LTSP5 can't be made to work in Debian Etch - I guess this is plain out-of-date and wrong? It would be good to hear from someone who has done a Debian Etch upgrade from 4.2 to 5. I'm not asking for step-by-step instructions (nice though that would be), just the reassurance that someone has managed to complete it successfully. -- Chris Roberts LTSP Version : 4.2 Distribution : Debian Etch Windows Manager : KDE 3.5 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
