Ali, LTSP-5 in Ubuntu doesn't use NFS.
And, you've already got the login screen, so you are way past the the point where the root filesystem gets mounted. I think that you've hit a known problem in Ubuntu 8.04. The problem has been fixed. I think the following will fix it: sudo ltsp-update-sshkeys sudo ltsp-update-image Then try to boot the client and log in.
