Hello Community LTSP GUI summer of code project is now in lts.conf configuration GUI stage, Jan Weber (GSOC developer) has requested you to take a look at the approach he has designed for the application and give your feedback[1].
The current status of project: - KIWI-LTSP configuration part is almost complete, with little bit of cosmetic work remaining - lts.conf GUI work is in implementation stage, screenshot for the module can be found here[2] - Lars Vogdt would be putting up packages in the openSUSE Build Service repository for various distributions [3] - The lts.conf GUI is task based, rather than being VARIABLES centric, the initial groupings of the variables for the task is also available [4] your feedback for that would help immensely in making the GUI as intuitive as possible. - The transcript of the meeting can be found on the project wiki [2] Regards -J [1] http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=200807031513.58026.jan%40luckylemon.de&forum_name=ltsp-discuss [2] http://developer.novell.com/wiki/index.php/Easy-LTSP [3] http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/ltsp [4] ftp://forgeftp.novell.com/kiwi-ltsp/easy-ltsp-tasks.pdf ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards: VOTE NOW!
