Hi all, Is it possible to totally omit the netbook's own screen and use an external (VGA connected) monitor instead? Likewise I want to use an extenal keyboard and mouse instead of those in the netbook. Can I expect a "plug it and start using" experience or do I need to tweak Xorg.conf etc and build a custom squashfs image?
>From my description you probably guess I want to use the netbook as only a central processing unit, eg a bare thin client with no peripherals or screen. (The built-in screen and keyboard are too small and mouse too inconvenient, but the "muscle" of the hardware, silent operation and small physical dimensions, and of course purchase price is ideal for thin client use).
