I am having limited success with my ubuntu version of LTSP

I have a NAT router which includes a DHCP server.

My ltsp server machine has a fixed IP on its wifi connection and includes a
dhcp (non
authorative).

A ports scan on this machine shows ports 2000, 9571 and 9572 all listening.

A laptop machine boots fine when I use an ethernet cable into my NAT router but
for
flexibility I am trying an access point in client mode connected to the
laptop's ethernet port.

Using this method I get an IP address from the LTSP server's DHCP server,
vmlinuz loads,
initrd.img loads, I then get the message 'ready' followed by loading, please
wait.

I then get the line IP-config: eth0, hardware address **********, mtu 1500
DHCP RARP

At this point it halts completely.

Same laptop connected to router via ethernet cable works, I appreciate this
suggests a
problem with the wifi setup but the wifi must be correct as vmlinuz and
initrd.img loads.

This is not an urgent project for me but who knows if I do get it working
reliably.
