Ok, got it working with fvwm2 window-manager. Now to the interesting question: What about bandwidth usage?
Boot up to login screen: ldm: sent: 760 kB, received: 26.5 MB fvwm with nxclient: sent 781 kB, received: 28.9 MB Very small usage scenario (login, browse one internet site, type a sentence with oowriter and logout): ldm: sent: 6 MB, received: 14.4 MB fvwm with nxclient: sent: 500 kB, received: 2.4 MB Everything measured with ntop and isdn-settings in nxclient.
