Hi everybody! Ever since migrating to LTSP 4.2 and RHEL 4, the ability for users to run KSnapshot has been nothing but trouble. When they hit the hotkey (ctrl-alt-f), KSnapshot will show up for a brief moment, then close immediately.
VNCing into the Thinserver via Thinserver:62 to emulate a thinclient doesn't show the same problem as severely - it'll close out on the first try, but on the second try it'll stick. Running ksnapshot as root through a terminal will make ksnapshot stick, but only if you remain as root. I'm running Gnome and IceWM, if that means anything. It doesn't look to be a hardware-limited issue on the thinclient end, as any and all boxes reveal the same behavior.
