Hey all, Just wondered why, if SCREEN_XX can telnet, why telnet client isn't installed by default. It's trivial to install, but IMHO it should be included if the screen script is available. rdesktop seems to be there by default (unless I installed it manually and forgot) so telnet shouldn't be left out to freeze in the Winter cold. :)
Cheers, Jordan/Lns P.S. I just used the telnet screen script on my own LTSP network to automatically launch the classic text adventure "Zork" on tty2. Nothing like easter-egg nostalgia. ;) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
