Hi

I am having a really bad time with Ltsp-5 on Debians -Lenny and Etch
as well as Ubuntu 8, while my Ltsp-4.2 is still working like a song.
Mostly problems with nbd and tftpd.

While using Lenny, the client booting ends at loading
pxelinux0.default. But the same problem don't exist loading from
Windows 2003 server.

The only problem with 4.2 is that kernel is 2.4 without the drivers
for newer NICs like Realtek 8169.

Is it ok to compile a custom kernel (2.6.xx) for ltsp 4.2 and keep
away from LTSP5? As of now, i need to use rdesktop with sound and
video working from the clients.

Is there anything that I will miss out?

regards

Nataraj
