Hello all:
I have a fresh install of ubuntu 8.10 ltsp. when I try to login with my thin client (IBM personal computer 300GL w/Intel Pro100s nic), I get an error message about 'creating new authority file /var/run/ldm-xauth-qNwFu3409' then I see a large graphical 'X' appear on screen. The 'x' and the error message then just rotate ad infinitum. I'm new to ltsp and can't figure out what is failing. I've looked at most of the logs on the server, did not see any messages about /var/run/ldm... . Any ideas on what is failing or where to look (which log to check) to find out? Thanks in advance for any help.
