The Lessdisks Terminal Server Project (LTSP) [1] is running a bit behind
schedule for the 2009-04-01 release of LTSP 6.0. We expect that by the end
of April, or no later than mid-May, we should be able to deliver.
Features you can expect from LTSP 6.0:
* Full wireless support
* CD and DVD burning
* Minimum hardware requirements significantly reduced from earlier
versions: 8MB of ram, 25MHz processor. putting the *thin* back in
thin-client.
* Seamless integration with youtube with great performance
* Reboot any computer as a thin client from your web browser from anywhere!
[1] the Lessdisks Terminal Server Project will be filing suit against the
Linux Terminal Server Project for use of the name LTSP, but continue to
improve upon the codebase under a freeware liscense as yet to be
disclosed.
