Here in Finland school's out for summer, so I downloaded, burned and booted openSUSE-Edu-Live-Li-f-e; then I hooked up HP Mini 2133 as a thin client. http://www.arkki.info/howto/openSUSE11/openSUSE_LTSP5_01.png Last summer we worked out with Jigish Asus Eee 701. Here is a picture about openSUSE running in Ubuntu KVM. http://www.arkki.info/howto/openSUSE11/Eee_openSUSE11_00.png ---- Very very well done Jigish et all other openSUSE developers! > Future plans for openSUSE 11.2: > > * Integrate stgraber's ltsp-cluster work > * Jan weber is currently rewriting Easy-LTSP[2] GUI for LTSP > management in python, the idea is that now more distributions may feel > comfortable including it getting all the benefits we have been > enjoying for some time now. Watch out for the Easy-LTSP-ng, get the > source[3] if you would like to work on it. Feedback, suggestions > always welcome. I really really love to see all of these things in upstream so every LTSP5 distro can use them. I have one setup with two servers (https://wiki.edubuntu.org/EdubuntuDHCPload-balancingFailover) - I hope that I can after Ubuntu 9.10 use three or four servers as easy as now two servers.
