huh, interesting, could you send me some information about how you 
configured it? How did you get sound working?

I'm doing several tests, and so far ubuntu based clients might be the 
best solution.

USB support is vital though, we can live without sound, but not withput 
USB support.

I tried using RHEL 5.3 against LTSP 4.2 clients, but that Gnome version 
crashed the X server.
