Hi Kris, LTSP is a good solution for you internet café, What we did in our school for example (and these are all smart kids who want to break things) is we deleted everything for the gnome pannel and just putted icons in place, after that we disabled the feature that you can adjust the panel with de gconf-editor. The filesystem we made hidden so only the home directory came up, and the other home directories we made not accessible by using basic unix permissions. USB drives people can access through their desktop.
what do you mean by automatic session end time ? do you mean people log in and then a timer starts to run and after an hour people get loggout, you can make something like that with some scripting or even a webinterface that pops up so people need to give in a code to be able to surf. my 2 cents, B.
