Hello everybody,

-----8<-----CyberOrg told me to ask
you-----------------------------8<-------------------------------
My first guess would be one of the RDP_OPTIONS could be issue, another
would be vista side problem.

Try posting on ltsp-discuss mailing list, someone else there might
know how to get rdesktop and vista work properly.

Ive got an annoying problem - Monitor is switching to TEXTMODE and
back to X-Mode.
The CRT-Monitors commenting every change with a "click-clack" sound.

But first my lts.conf:
!! the comments (#) are not really in my lts.conf, i placed em
manually
for better understanding !!

[default]
LOCALDEV = True
# need to do this because otherway sound via RDP was horror
SOUND = FALSE
# missing mouse + keyboard fix
CONFIGURE_X_COMMAND = /usr/share/ltsp/configure-x.sh
X_MODE_0 = 1024x768
X_COLOR_DEPTH = 16
XkbLayout = de
SERVER=10.0.4.69 # KIWI-LTSP Server IP
SCREEN_08 = rdesktop
# VISTA 64 Ultimate + www.thinstuff.com/products/xpvs-server
RDP_SERVER=10.0.4.70
RDP_OPTIONS ="-z -a 16 -f -D -k de -d SGO -r sound:local -r
disk:drives=/media/root/"

As long as no one is loggt in on a terminal the Monitor chances
permanent in intervals from the
VISTA login screen for a few seconds to TEXT mode.
Every change cause an annoying "sound" like fizz & woosh with an
cracking component ;-)
At least no fun for the visitors of our library.

Please help me out!

Greetings from Germany

Frank
