Hello,

Problem 1:
Just started working on diskless clients a few days back. the first card
I used were with an pxe boot rom and had no problem logging on to the
ltsp server.

But these cards were expensive for the old machines we were using for a
remote village educational trust (they cost almost as much as the rest
of the machine). Hence we decided to use the other nic cards which were
cheaper and since all our machines had old cd rom drives we thought of
making boot cd's to start the clients. First we did not find any
suitable boot PXE for rtl8139D cards?????

Any one knows more about these??

Then we managed to lay hands on a Davicom 9102 adaptor for which we
found a gPXE boot image at rom-o-matic but now it does not find the
DHCP... I think we have to define where to find the boot image.. how??

Problem 2:
I also wanted to find out if we could somehow provide the images from
grub to dual boot the clients. Since the server is dual booting and I
would like all the students to learn windows as well as Linux...
