I did an update tonight on the server and in chroot to get things up to
date. I'm running Edubuntu LTSP Hardy, and now after the updates, the
clients are slow, and the server is slow as well.

The thin clients boot up fine, and logging onto them appears normal. When
accessing folders and files, they appear to take longer than usual with a
slight delay. Firefox is very slow as well. It opens fine, but navigating
websites is slow, and flash sites are very slow.

I can log onto the thin clients with normal users, but when I use the
servers administrative user account to log onto a thin client, it will
appear as though it's logging on, then revert back to the log on screen.
However, I can still log onto the server, from the server (GNOME), as the
administrative user. There it's extremely slow to navigate around the
desktop and Firefox is extremely slow.

The server was operating "normal" before the updates.

What information can I provide that would help?

Thanks,

John
