Hi,

I had seen at one place where they are using LTSP's very old version.
and at there the client have their individual IP.

I brief the exact problem
We are using RHEL5.3 x86_64, LTSP 4.2
Server IP = 172.16.10.200
Thin client is booted from LTSP server and lease 1 IP from the DHCP server.
- It is working while we are using "shell" insted of "startx". The
client get an IP address and it is communicated with the Gateway level
firewall fine. but while we switch to "startx" same client is not
communicated to the Gateway level firewall directly and taking LTSP
server's IP address.
- We also check that while surfing internet we get packets from client
to server is only "X11" = port 6000.

- Gateway level firewall is not user base but IP base restriction is there.

Jignesh Shah

> Your explanation is not very clear Jignesh but in case of LTSP network
