I watched this thread with interest ...

I am trying to use the latest K12LTSP install (on Fedora 10) to simply boot
some old PC's to an rdesktop session.

When I put in SCREEN_01=rdesktop or even SCREEN_07=redesktop.
[default]
    #X_COLOR_DEPTH=16
    LOCALDEV=True
    SOUND=True
    NBD_SWAP=True
    SYSLOG_HOST=server
    LDM_GLOBAL_DMRC=/etc/ltsp/ldm-global-dmrc
    #XKBLAYOUT=us
    LDM_NUMLOCK=true
#    LDM_AUTOLOGIN=true
#    LDM_USERNAME=testuser
#    LDM_PASSWORD=password
#    SCREEN_01=ldm
    RDP_SERVER   = 172.16.12.45
    RDP_OPTIONS  = "-a 16"

    SCREEN_01=rdesktop -f 172.16.12.45

The workstation will not boot. It flashes a bunch of error messages on the
screen and tries and retries to boot. The last error message that I can put
together is

/usr/share/ltsp/xinitrc: line 40 /usr/bin/rdesktop: no such file or directory

[jguent...@localhost ~]$ locate rdesktop
/opt/ltsp/i386/usr/share/ltsp/screen.d/rdesktop
/usr/bin/rdesktop
/usr/share/rdesktop

yet it is there. Why can the workstation not access this file?

If I let the workstation boot normally into an LTSP session and then run
rdesktop from the command line it all works.

stuck. ..
