I tried this but I have to admit my inexperience with scripts and LTSP - 
I couldn't get anything better than an endless loop of text mode to 
graphics mode and back.

Can some kind soul explain this procedure a little better? Exactly which 
files to change, and perhaps their full contents after altered?
