Hi list and gurus

When the client boot, it gets its parameters from a file named 'default'
(from /srv/tftpboot/pxe-something/default)

Is it correct, that I may then copy this default file into something like:

default.00:40:f4:8a:7b:0a

where the 'after the dot part' is the MAC number of the client?
Hence, this file will be read by exactly that client?
And...this way, I can then see to that one particular client gets some
slightly different boot-up options?

Is the contents/format of 'default' file documented - or is it more or
less self explanatory :-)

As always...thank you!
