I noticed another two problems (minor ones, compared to the KDE showstopper)
mit the ltsp installation on Ubuntu Lucid:
1.) /etc/X11/Xsession.d/80_ltsp-sound requires /usr/bin/asoundconf
On Ubuntu 10.04 there is only asoundconf-gtk available:
r...@ots-v2,~: apt-cache search asoundconf
asoundconf-gtk - Applet to select the default ALSA sound card
Therefore you always get this error line in .xsession-errors:
/etc/X11/Xsession.d/80_ltsp-sound: 7: /usr/bin/asoundconf: not found
2.) Remote syslog seems broken.
In my lts.conf I have:
SYSLOG_HOST = 10.1.3.30
On the thin client, with getltscfg -a I also get:
SYSLOG_HOST="10.1.3.30"
But the client only starts logging to the syslog server when I invoke
restart rsyslog
Minor bugs, but anyway.
Regards
Helmut
