That's a common problem with the migration of LTSP4.2 to LTSP5... the place of lts.conf has changed to /var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/i386 (or something like that, where the clients kernel is placed).
If you change the lts.conf on /opt/ltsp/i386/etc/lts.conf you should execute ltsp-update-image so the changes can take efect. Try one of them... any problem, mail!!!
